Ozone and smog: climate change threatens today’s success
SWISS ACADEMIES FACTSHEETS, VOL. 11, NO 5, 2016
Despite successful air pollution control measures, the level of ozone in ambient air has only decreased a little. This means that summer smog continues to endanger human health. As a result of climate change, hot summers as in 2003 and 2015 are likely to become more frequent and to again aggravate the ozone problem.
