ie SAMW setzt sich für Nachwuchsförderung in der akademischen Medizin ein. Eine breit abgestützte Arbeitsgruppe hat die bestehenden Instrumente zur Förderung des akademischen Nachwuchses an den Universitätsspitälern evaluiert. Der heute veröffentlichte Bericht fasst die Vorschläge zur Stärkung und Verbesserung des aktuellen Angebots zusammen.
Insbesondere hat sich gezeigt, dass das umfangreiche, aber heterogene und verstreute Unterstützungs- und Ausbildungsangebot besser strukturiert und gebündelt werden muss. Um den Zugang zu bestehenden Instrumenten zu erleichtern, empfiehlt die Arbeitsgruppe u. a. die Schaffung eines Webportals, das jungen klinisch Forschenden einen direkten Zugang zu den vorhandenen Ressourcen bietet.
