Open Science Commission a+

The Open Science Commission serves as the central platform of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences for ensuring exchange on open science topics at the national level, with a focus on research communities and infrastructures.

The Open Science Commission emerged from the two former advisory bodies of the Swiss Strategy Council for Open Research Data, whose members now work together in the new national body. This continues the proven expertise in open research data while placing it in a broader framework that encompasses open science as a whole. In addition, Commission members serve as the jury for the National ORD Prize. In doing so, the Academies underline their ongoing commitment to promoting open science.
