Zum Tod von Charles Kleiber
Freund der Akademien, Staatssekretär für Bildung und Forschung, Visionär: Charles Kleiber hatte die Stiftung Science et Cité ins Leben gerufen, das jüngste Mitglied in unserem Akademienverbund. Die Akademien der Wissenschaften Schweiz verdanken diesem Mann von Überzeugung und Offenheit viel. Er scheute nie die Öffentlichkeit, wenn es darum ging, mit seinen Ideen zu überzeugen. Charles Kleiber ist am 14. Januar 2025 im Alter von 82 Jahren verstorben.

Scienza e tecnologia sotto i riflettori al Lycée-Collège de la Planta: un TecDay SATW di grande ispirazione
Il Lycée-Collège de la Planta di Sion si è trasformato in un vero e proprio laboratorio di scoperta durante il TecDay organizzato dalla SATW. Quasi 1000 alunni hanno partecipato a 60 laboratori interattivi e divertenti sulle materie STEM (matematica, informatica, scienze naturali e tecnologia).

New federal law on rare diseases: position statement
As a founding member of the National Coordination of Rare Diseases (kosek), the SAMS supports the umbrella organization's position statement on the new federal law on measures to combat rare diseases. The text provides, among other things, for the creation of a register and the granting of financial aid for the identification and monitoring of specialized care facilities.
