Public consultation: Advance care planning for emergency situations
Medical emergencies require swift action. At the same time the patient’s wishes must be taken into account, for example the wish not to be resuscitated or transferred to a hospital. To provide clarity in such situations, a national expert group has developed the concept «Advance care planning (ACP) for emergency situations». The concept is under public consultation until the end of February 2026.

smarter medicine: 60'000 francs to promote research
The association «smarter medicine – Choosing Wisely Switzerland», of which the SAMS is a founding member, is committed to optimizing healthcare in Switzerland. This year, it is once again awarding a grant for research projects and supporting up to three applications with up to CHF 20’000 each. Applications can be submitted until 21 August 2026.

Zweite Durchführung des CAS Citizen Science und Public Engagement, erneut mit Beteiligung des td-net
Diesen Herbst bietet Citizen Science Zürich zum zweiten Mal den CAS Citizen Science und Public Engagement an. Die berufsbegleitende und praxisorientierte Weiterbildung ist zusammengesetzt aus fünf Basis- und zwei wählbaren Spezialisierungsmodulen, von denen eines unter der Beteiligung stattfinden wird.
