Marcel Benoist Preis 2025
Seit 1920 verleiht die Stiftung Marcel Benoist jährlich den Schweizer Wissenschaftspreis. Der mit 250'000 Franken dotierte Preis wird dieses Jahr im Bereich der Mathematik, Natur- und Ingenieurwissenschaften vergeben. Nominationen können bis zum 24. Februar 2025 über die Website der Stiftung Marcel Benoist eingereicht werden.
Der Schweizer Wissenschaftspreis Marcel Benoist gilt als bedeutendster Forschungspreis der Schweiz. Im Auftrag der Stiftung ist der Schweizerische Nationalfonds (SNF) für die Evaluation aller Nominierten und die Selektion der Preisträgerin oder des Preisträgers zuhanden des Stiftungsrates zuständig.

New Report Maps Landscape of Science for Policy and Diplomacy Education in Switzerland and Beyond
A new report titled “On Science for Policy and Diplomacy Education in Switzerland and Beyond: A Brief Overview” has just been released, offering timely insights into the growing field at the intersection of science, policy, and diplomacy. Published by the Swiss Young Network for Science Policy and Diplomacy (SYNESPOD) of the Swiss Young Academy, in collaboration with the Geneva Science-Policy Interface (GSPI) and the Franxini Project of Reatch, the report maps educational opportunities for early-career researchers and professionals in Switzerland, Europe, and globally.
