Foundation Science et Cité

Lancierung des Projekts "Citizen Science in der Schweiz: Kontextanalyse, Empfehlungen und Roadmap"

On December 2nd  2021, the Board of directors of the Swiss Academies mandated Science et Cité with the project "Citizen Science in Switzerland : Contextual Analysis, Recommendations and Roadmap".

This project is one strategic focus of the Citizen Science initiative of the Swiss Academies 2021-24 (ICSA+) and will start in January 2022. It will be lead by Science et Cité in a participatory process with a dedicated “Swiss Expert Group for Citizen Science” constituted for this purpose. The Swiss Citizen Science Network Schweiz forscht / Tous scientifiques will also be involved in this process.

Il “Barometro delle nuove leve MINT Svizzera 2026” delle Accademie svizzere delle scienze mostra dove queste competenze vengono sviluppate – o, al contrario, dove non lo sono. Un confronto tra i due rapporti mette in luce perché la promozione delle discipline MINT non sia solo una questione educativa, ma anche una necessità economica.

    PS60+ resolution reflects key SAMS proposals

    The political debate on the future of Switzerland’s healthcare system is gaining momentum. In a recent resolution, PS60+, the seniors’ organization of the Social Democratic Party, echoes key proposals put forward by the SAMS. It reinforces the discussion on health as a societal responsibility and calls, among other things, for integrated healthcare, stronger coordination by the Confederation and a clear framework for the use of health data.
