Jahresbericht 2023: Ein leistungsfähiges Netzwerk
Im Jahr 2023 konnten die Akademien der Wissenschaften Schweiz ihre Stärken ausspielen: Die sechs Mitglieder und die 125 Plattformen, Kommissionen, Arbeitsgruppen und Kuratorien leisteten in ihren Themenbereichen und Fachgebieten wertvolle Arbeit, unter der Steuerung des Dachverbands. Als föderale Union organisiert und mit wirksam arbeitenden Gremien ausgestattet, erschliessen die Akademien ein Netzwerk von über 100’000 Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern. Dank diesem agilen Netzwerk gelingt der Brückenbau zwischen Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft in zentralen Themen wie Nachhaltigkeit, Digitalisierung oder Gesundheit. SPHN publication with insight into data governance at university hospitals
Aiming to share knowledge and advance data sharing across the country, SPHN has published a report on data governance practices for data sharing at all five university hospitals in Switzerland. The analysis sheds light on how individual institutions process requests for health data access and on what grounds decisions are taken.

The Swiss Young Academy (SYA) is pleased to announce the release of its new publication, “Innovative Teaching Formats at the Science-Society Interface: Reflections and Future Directions in Swiss Higher Education.” The report by SYA members Benjamin Hofmann, Clara Zemp, Sandra Bärnreuther and Project Assistant Morgane Genin highlights how innovative teaching approaches can mobilize students to engage with societal partners - an essential step in promoting science-society dialogue needed for addressing today’s complex societal challenges.
