Integrierte und koordinierte Ansätze zur Bewältigung von Herausforderungen rund um Biodiversität, Wasser, Nahrung, Gesundheit und Klima sind wirksamer und kostengünstiger als die traditionelle Herangehensweise in Sektoren oder wenn einzelne Aspekte, etwa der Klimaschutz, Vorrang haben. Dies hat die erste umfassende wissenschaftliche Analyse zu Wechselwirkungen und Handlungsmöglichkeiten ergeben, die der Weltbiodiversitätsrat IPBES am Dienstag publiziert hat. 165 Expertinnen und Experten aus 57 Ländern haben Zusammenhänge, Zukunftsszenarien und konkrete Handlungsoptionen vertieft analysiert und zeigen Wege auf für deren optimale Implementierung.

PS60+ resolution reflects key SAMS proposals
The political debate on the future of Switzerland’s healthcare system is gaining momentum. In a recent resolution, PS60+, the seniors’ organization of the Social Democratic Party, echoes key proposals put forward by the SAMS. It reinforces the discussion on health as a societal responsibility and calls, among other things, for integrated healthcare, stronger coordination by the Confederation and a clear framework for the use of health data.
