Initial call Codes of Conduct ORD
The ORD unit of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences is inviting tenders for up to four codes of conduct for open research data with a total value of CHF 120,000. The codes of conduct are intended to serve as guidelines and reference frameworks for specific disciplines and data communities in the field of open research data. Applications can be submitted until 31 May 2024.

Innovation Qualité: a prize to promote quality in healthcare
The «Innovation Qualité» Prize of the Swiss Academy for Quality in Medicine (ASQM), a FMH-related organisation, is intended to highlight tried and tested projects, make knowledge in the field more visible in Switzerland and provide innovative impetus for debate among specialists. The SAMS supports this prize.

New Executive Board members and speaker elected
The members of the Swiss Young Academy elected their new Executive Board for 2025/26. Nawal Kinany was appointed as the new speaker, Sabrina Heike Kessler will serve as the vice-speaker. In their one-year term of office, they intend to further strengthen the Swiss Young Academy as a vibrant platform that advocates for and amplifies the perspectives of early and mid-career researchers throughout Switzerland.
