Dank eines Digitalisierungsprojekts am Naturéum in Lausanne werden die Funde für die Forschung und Öffentlichkeit nun einfacher zugänglich.

    Space-based solar power stations could generate electricity almost round the clock and transmit it to Earth via microwaves. The individual technologies are well developed, but their interaction on a large scale has not yet been tested. Swiss research and industry could also play a part in overcoming the enormous technical and economic hurdles.

    Advance care planning: More than an advance directive

    From reflecting on personal values to developing a treatment plan in a nursing home: advance care planning (ACP) is a process. It encompasses numerous areas of action and relies on the commitment of many different stakeholders. Together with the FOPH, the SAMS co-leads a national working group that aims to raise public awareness of ACP and strengthen its implementation among healthcare professionals. A new online article provides a concise overview of the progress made to date.
