Bekanntgabe der Balzan Preisträger 2022
The winners of the 2022 Balzan Prizes were announced in Milan. The winners are Martha Nussbaum (USA – University of Chicago) for Moral Philosophy, Philip Bohlman (USA – University of Chicago) for Ethnomusicology, Robert Langer (USA – MIT) for Biomaterials for Nanomedicine and Tissue Engineering, and Dorthe Dahl-Jensen (Denmark – University of Copenhagen) and Johannes Oerlemans (The Netherlands – University of Utrecht) for Glaciation and Ice-Sheet Dynamics.

Tour d'Horizon 2024 published
For the twentieth time, thanks to contributions from the community, td-net has compiled a list of key literature from 2024 in the field of inter- and transdisciplinary research, education and practice. 57 publications, are classified into 5 categories with short annotations from the contributors. Digitalisation means a radical change for the Swiss financial system. In the near future, technology companies, but also central banks, could develop and issue new virtual forms of money. TA-SWISS would like to stimulate a debate about this in society as a whole and is launching a new study on this topic.
